What is 5D BIM and
how do we use it?
5D Building Information Modeling (BIM) combines 3D modeling with scheduling (4D) and cost estimating (5D), allowing us to visualize, coordinate, and budget every plumbing system before construction starts.
Our team develops models with LOD 350+ that include every pipe, valve, and fitting, generating accurate material take-offs, Trimble-ready layout drawings, and precise quantity and cost reports. This process eliminates guesswork in the field, improves coordination with other trades (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, structure – MEPFS), and ensures a flawless final outcome.
